I bought a new tablet yesterday, a Wacom Bamboo. It's simple, easy to use, small, and just perfect for my skill level. I've already started doing some digital line art from my sketch book, and I'm really pleased with how it's looking

I had been using an Aiptek, and there was nothing wrong with it, but I started using Macs and the Aiptek wasn't compatible with the OS, so the pen pressure feature didn't work, to say the least. So that's really why I upgraded. I should have done it a long time ago...the Wacom is much smoother, and doesn't "catch" as much as the Aiptek did. =/
So yeah, if you're considering purchasing a graphic tablet, I'd definately shell out the extra cash for a name brand product like Wacom. The Bamboo I purchased was 99$, if you're on a budget. Best of luck on your tablet journey!!
